In the 3D world, in society built on division, where people deliberately distract and deceive themselves and others it’s easy to lose touch with what truly makes us strong as individuals and as a society. The late Yuri Bezmenov spoke about how people often focus on trivial or unnecessary pursuits, diverting attention from their inner strength. He considered meditation one such “unnecessary” pursuit, describing it as “navel-gazing” disconnected from reality. Yuri believed it hindered people from channeling their energy into solving problems.
That was in the 1970s, and this attitude toward meditation persists. Even I didn’t understand the impact of meditation back in the 1970s, though I was an introvert who consciously sought my own peace. Viewing meditation superficially as “navel-gazing” ignores its transformative potential for connecting with the inner self, which forms the foundation of both personal power and the creation of a compassionate, thriving society. Humanity forms a single living entity, where all humans are interconnected. When we meditate and “gaze at our navel,” we actually connect with the collective consciousness. However, in the 3D world, where individual egos make themselves the center of existence, the idea of humanity as a collective is often rejected.
The 5D practical spirituality transcends time and space, offering a broader perspective. During meditation, we merge with the magnetic, feminine, nurturing energy of well-being — the essence of our true selves. The rational ego-mind predominantly operates through logical, masculine energy. While it can understand the causal relationships of care and well-being, its focus remains limited to personal and close-circle welfare due to the constraints of 3D beliefs.
Intuitively, everyone knows that well-being and care are the foundation of a healthy society. Yet many still resist the idea that every individual has a right to essential support, like healthcare. A healthy, motivated community is like a flourishing garden: when every plant is cared for, the entire community thrives.
Modern economics is based on the idea that self-interest, or actions promoting one’s own benefit, leads to collective prosperity. However, collective economics is often dismissed as socialism, which is feared as a plague, as beneficiaries of social welfare are seen as parasites consuming communal resources. Especially over the past decade, Nordic welfare states, known for their social services, have faced exploitation by foreigners from developing countries due to uncontrolled immigration. Some immigrants have made a profession out of deceiving authorities and collecting tens of thousands of euros in social benefits, to which they are not entitled by norms. Traditionally, people in the Nordic countries have viewed social benefits as a last resort for livelihood.
When self-interest is guided purely by the ego-mind, individuals disconnect from the larger whole. However, differing attitudes among people do not mean that socialism as a system is invalid. For example, Finland’s competitiveness largely stems from the state’s investments in its citizens, maintaining high levels of education, health, and equal participation in societal life. I am living proof that people with limited resources can significantly influence the evolution of collective consciousness.
Due to my physical disability, I am primarily self-reliant at home. Nevertheless, with Copilot’s assistance, I manage a multilingual website in six languages and send messages in real time worldwide. I believe that my articles, which can be seen as peer support, help people, despite cultural and personal differences, see what is universal to all humanity.
The abuse of social security is the root cause for why Nordic countries have started dismantling public social services. In practice, this means that the dismantling of welfare services leads to a decline in competitiveness — not only at the individual level but also from the state’s perspective. Therefore, we must carefully consider the essence of socialism. Viewing issues through the lens of practical spirituality allows us to align personal benefit with empathy and cooperation, transforming selfishness into a force that uplifts both the individual and society as a whole.
By fostering creativity, nurturing health, and embracing our mutual interconnectedness, we tap into the essence of socialism: a system based on compassion, shared responsibility, and the opportunity for every individual to become the best version of themselves. Citizens are the strongest and most valuable renewable resource in any society. A nation’s competitiveness rises exponentially with healthier, smarter, and more motivated people. From this perspective, socialism is not merely a political theory but reflects humanity’s deepest spiritual truths.
